What does it mean to have bloody stool? Is it something that poses a serious concern?
Don’t be anxious, it’s probably fissures, which are smalls tears inside, which is where the bleeding is coming from. Just got over a period of this happening and it was hemorrhoids caused by stress and lack of fiber. I switched up my diet and started to look up free and low cost ways to eat healthy and get active and it made things better for me.
If I was shitting blood, I’d be in a doctor’s office pretty damn quick. If it’s bright red, it means it’s towards the end of your digestive tract, and not something way up in there. It could be anything; internal hemorrhoids, polyps, anal fissure, etc. I wouldn’t totally freak out, but make an appointment to see a doctor ASAP, and describe what’s happening to the person on the phone. They will have an idea if it’s something that can wait or not.
