There’s no age gap in love. You really are an adult already at 18and can date whoever, you are over 18, which means you are a certified adult who can even live on their own. Don’t live by society’s terms because at the end of the day the people that frown at you never really care for you anyways. You are for yourself. If my daughter wants to be with a 31year old I would try and understand why before getting upset. That’s if there’s anything to get upset about.
It’s a bad idea, 19 is not really an adult mentally. In reality the brain doesn’t stop developing until your mid-twenties. This is also the reason why you don’t get cheaper car insurance until your a quarter century. So my advice is, lay off the relationship you’re too young. You may think at 19 that you are a mature adult, but in actually when you do get to be a quarter century you will realize that you are roughly 13 times more mature then, than you were when you were 19. Right now you are still very immature and a 31 year old would look at you as if you were a child, because in all practicality you are until you get to be 25, and then your considered an adult. So in the meantime, focus on getting a college education, and bettering your life as well as learning new skills, that will help better your life and chances at success. Besides, you’ll have plenty of time for relationships when you get to be older and more mature.
