Psychic ability is capability to be able to do the paranormal activities. Very few people are aware of their psychic abilities, and not everyone has a psychic ability. It is considered a supernatural gift.
If I could have a psychic ability, I’d like to have the ability to hear from the spiritual realm—Clairaudience. The capability of receiving an intuitive vocal message from the world of spirits or a higher beings. Clairaudients are highly intuitive people who are able to listen to a voice other than their own when the spirit world transmits a message to them.
A psychic ability I’ve always admired is Psychometry, which is a psychic ability in which a person can sense and mind-read through the history of an object by touching it. Such a person can receive impressions from an object by holding it in their hands. Such impressions can be perceived as images, sounds, smells, tastes and even emotions.
Psychometry is a form of scrying–a psychic way of “seeing” something that is not ordinarily seeable. Some scry using a crystal ball, black glass or even the surface of water. With psychometry, this extraordinary vision is available through touch. A person who has psychometric abilities can hold an old scarf and tell something about the history of that scarf, the person who owned it, or about the experiences that person had while in the possession of that scarf. The psychic may be able to sense what the person was like, what they did, or how they died. Perhaps most important, the psychic can sense how the person felt at a particular time. This is really a special kind of psychic ability, I’ve tried practicing it a few times.
