I get really angry when people hold “the God” discussion around me. Some have started calling me an atheist because of that.
If I’m always getting angry anytime people talk about God around me, does that make me an atheist?

If you see that a particular topic gets you triggered and someone brings up the topic, you can simply tell them you do not want to discuss it. If they insist then walk away. You are under no obligation to participate. Stop getting upset and hot-tempered. If you don’t want to discuss God with anyone, then tell them. If they are discussing God with someone else around you, then perhaps it’s time to mind your own business.
The God-issue is very private thing to me. I don’t like it when people start chattering about God, because it is confidential. I just excuse myself and leave the conversation. I feel the same way about spiritual matters in general. Seances for example make me very angry. These are all very serious matters, not for chit chat. Church is somewhat different, so maybe you could try going to church occasionally if you don’t already do so.
