There has been a car parked in front of my apartment for some days now. When I go out, I feel followed and getting back home, I always still meet the car parked at the same spot.

Statistically, the best way to deal with a stalker is to give no response, positive or negative, if you are the victim. However, if the stalker has an erotomanic disorder, he or she will imagine that you are communicating through other means: anything from a certain color being somewhere in public to the way a tree is growing. There is no guarantee that you can do anything to make a sick person stop fixating on you. It’s important to take precautions and stay safe. Do not interact. Do not answer the door to your stalker. Do not stay where this person is or can see you. Do not confront a stalker. Report everything to authorities, even if your stalker cannot be charged yet. Keep a record of everything your stalker, does to interact with you. Use everything legally available to get this person in the system, so that professionals can help.
It’s important to be careful. I don’t know what you mean by a stalker but if it’s really getting to be high pressured intrusion call the police. It’s hard to figure this out because so many people say stalker without explaining what’s happening, or use it in a very throwaway manner If you know that someone is fixated on you, they’re following you, they drive their car behind yours, or they try to go through your things, you know, all the things that are truly intrusive on your life then you need to get in touch with the authorities.
