According to the National Sleep Foundation, warming your feet before you go to bed helps give your brain a clear signal that it’s bedtime.
And the easiest way to warm your feet is to wear those warm socks. It’s the safest way to keep your feet warm at night. If you are like me whose feet remain always cold like 24/7, even if you are under a blanket then, you know, your life without socks is cold, like literally cold Socks are blessings, you feel me? Although, you should select socks wisely. The kind of socks you should wear are the ones which are super comfortable and the ones which are anti-bacterial so that you can sleep without the malodorous environment that stinky socks happen to create.
I suppose that if your socks are dirty for whatever reason, then you shouldn’t wear them to bed to avoid contaminating your sheets with bacteria, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t wear socks to bed at all- just don’t wear dirty socks. As we know that socks accumulates a lot of bacteria from inside or shoes, so if you wear them in the bed, it can carry many bacteria in your bed. So you can be infected by them. Especially for someone who walks a lot with shoes off but socks on at home. It can be even dangerous. Besides, if you sleep at night with your covers over your head, you’re creating a closed environment for the bacteria from your feet to swarm around the inside of the blanket.
