I have been working so hard trying to put contents on my channel, and really looking forward to when my channel would be monetized. I don’t know my YouTube channel has not been monetized just yet.
YouTube may not approve of your monetization if your applications is duplication. If your application is denied, YouTube will provide a reason on your monetization page. This is very easy to know if someone’s video is monetized. When you watch a video, ads appear in the beginning or middle, then this means the video is monetized. When you watch a video, the recommended side shows on the right side and if you have an ad shown, that means the video is monetized. Also, another reason why you have not been monetized might be because of your pin. If your PIN is not verified, your channel will not be able to monetize. Once you verify your identity or PIN, you will be able to monetize. Sign in to your AdSense account to see if you need to verify your identity or enter a PIN.
Your location is also a determining factor— where are you located? Not every region is eligible for monetization. Another reason could be some technical issues and for that you can contact youtube, they will surely look into the issue. And also maybe all the requirements have not been fulfilled, you can go and check again
