what you just described is called spotting, it is when a woman conceives, the symptoms are sharp cramps and tiny drops of blood in underwear, the moment which your egg is fertilized is marked by this cramp, you might just be pregnant, please take a test and find out, good luck.
that is not weird at all, it might be an early start on your period, cramps are also not so rare that you should be scared of, it is normal for periods to come early or just the body dispelling some dirt, be on the look out though, it might be more.
