The covid vaccine protection will last for how long when you get the shot?
They are not to sure at the moment though as time goes on when they will be able to analysis the effects of the antibodies ability to control/fight the virus, then they will have a clearer picture, at the moment they say around 6 months but hope it can be proven to be more than this The Sinovac one they say it is around 4 months and are working on improving it to 6months.
No one really knows yet; the vaccines have only been around for only a few months. It is thought that annual or biannual boosters may be needed because of the emergence of new strains – which is totally expected in viruses – hence the yearly vaccination program.
