Hello, please I need reviews on cambly (for those who have used it). How effective is it, is it really worth spending time there trying to learn English language?

Cambly is a very effective and flexible platform to learn the English language, and you can log in and find a teacher when you want to have a class. This is great if you have a busy life and you cannot commit a lot of time to learn English.
You will be connected to a virtual classroom where you can see your teacher and you can type things on one side. You will talk to your teacher for the amount of time that you have in your subscription. Your teacher will generally ask you questions about yourself and your interests if you have a lower level of English or you can also ask your teacher to do something specific as well. However, as Cambly grows they are often updating their platform and sometimes this can lead to technical issues and difficulties connecting to teachers.
I believe you will benefit much more from getting a live tutor than studying with a tutor online. I say tutor because you need someone who will be committed to helping you. Some schools, have a tutoring department set up. In other words, they pay students to help other students. Check with your school to see if they offer this service at your school. Check if there’s an international club in your campus and join it. You will always find local students there who want to mingle with foreigners. You might be able to make friends with someone who wants to get to know you and your country, and in turn, you can learn English from them.
You can also take advantage of watching different TV shows. It will help you sharpen both your listening and conversational skills.
Always take notes of whatever you learn with examples for future reference, and avoid translations which hinder your thinking in English.
