There are too many fake drugs out there, thus putting the health of people at great risk. How does one know a fake drug from original?
It is difficult task because there are millions medicine in the market. If you are regular user of some specific medicine then you can recognize with it’s wrapper’s color, font’s size and shape. Best way to get genuine medicine is to buy from very reputed chemist whom you know from long time or from that shop which is near the doctor’s clinic
It is such an unfortunate truth that regular consumers may not able to differentiate fake medications from the real deal. You see, most manufacturers of fake drugs have succeeded in copying almost every physical aspect of the medication making it seem like the original. Packaging, vial shape and size, tablet shape, size, and coloring – these aspects have been copied. As a consumer, there are things you can take note of: Check the medication. If your blue pill suddenly got a number stamped in middle where there previously was none, ask your PCP or pharmacist. Be wary of relatively cheap drugs. Meds are manufactured in relatively the same manner, hence, changes in pricing could greatly affect a pharmaceutical company – this isn’t something they want.
Take note of the medications’ effectiveness. Lastly, try and procure medications only from trusted sources.
