I have hp laptop with 2 gb of ram but when I try to run android studio pc crashed every time, after lot of research i found out why, it was because of lower ram of my pc.

If your Laptop supports more RAM then definitely you can. To check whether you can upgrade the RAM of your Laptop checkout the details on the Official Product Support Page or you can see videos on YouTube to guide you.
Just pop the back lid of your laptop and you’ll see the RAM slots. If there is only one slot, then you have to remove your current RAM and insert a new one(say remove your old 2GB and insert a new 4 GB). If you have two slots, then you can just add an extra RAM(say you already have a 2GB and now you just have to insert another 2GB. 2+2=4). The main thing you need to see is if your RAM is a DDR2 or DDR3 or the latest DDR4 type. A DDR2 RAM will not fit into a DDR3 or a DDR4 slot. You need to buy the right type of RAM for your laptop
