It is much easier to start an affiliate marketing journey with free and paid traffic methods. If you are a beginner then I suggest you start with free traffic, gain some knowledge then switch to paid traffic methods. But before that, you have to do some research and make a strategy to grow.
Pick a niche— Think of the product you are already using in your day-to-day life. Is there one you are particularly interested in? This could be a book, a kitchen gadget, or hair styling tools. You can look around for the exact product or something similar in affiliate marketing networks like Amazon Associates, Clickbank, etc.
Start Driving Traffic— After picking up your niche, you have to promote your link using different social media platforms.
Build an email list— Create a landing page and collect all your visitor email. An email list is one of the big income sources to the topmost affiliate.
Remarketing— Retarget your audience by giving some valuable stuff like free E-book, free videos, free consultation. That will built trust.
Pay-Per-Click Advertising— Once your affiliate marketing starts to take off, it is time to move up to paid advertising.
The first thing you should do if you want to start affiliate marketing the right way is buy the product for yourself. If you have been drawn to affiliate marketing by reading that it is possible to make money without spending any cash of your own, it will seem like a backward step to suggest that you start by spending money, but there is a good reason why you should seriously consider taking this advice.
What do you know about the product you will be promoting? If you haven’t tried the product, all you will know is what other people have told you. Don’t you think they might be just a little bit biased? The truth is that even if the product was a complete turkey, they’d still be telling you it’s an eagle. The only way you will really know what a product does, is to buy it and test it out yourself.
