I believe the most effective way of conducting a survey is by going house-to-house and interviewing people directly and just noting the answers. One advantage for the survey will be a sure response from the participants unlike doing an online survey, no one can be sure if the answers to the survey question are done by the real person and its responses are true.
Surveys can be conducted F2F, using a set of questions or using the traditional paper-pencil method or online. The main aim of a survey is to get responses in an immediate time frame to capture how people feel about a product, a service. or an experience. Any time delay or a time lag in conducting a survey will not achieve its objectives.
