Vitamins! There are special vitamins made to strengthen nails. I take some that are readily available at discount department stores and drug stores, and they work.
Wear rubber gloves if you immerse your hands in water. Buy a bottle of nail strengthener and use it regularly. Almond oil is also great for dry nails and cuticles.
Finally, keep your hands and feet moisturized. If your nails or cuticles get dry, they can peel or you can pick at them and then they’re all gnarly and dry again, and you don’t want that!
How strong your nails are depends highly on your dietary. Plenty of nutrients in food can help your nails, taking them from dry and brittle to healthy and strong. Foods that can improve your nails include fruits, lean meats, salmon, leafy greens, beans, eggs, nuts, and whole grains.
