By posting genuinely and authentic contents. Readers like and enjoy posts that they can relate with on a personal level. Also, make your posts engaging, if you’re not making your posts engaging, there is nothing the readers want to comment about- make the posts open ended. Ask for their opinions on matters. Post quality contents, not copied contents. That way, you won’t just be having readers, you will have readers who will engage in your posts, possibly share on their social networks and definitely come back to your blog site.
There is no sole strategy to get comments on your blog posts. It is overall credibility and trust that you build with the audience which brings more engagement on your blog. People simply don’t buy a product and leave a thought unless they are familiar with the person or brand from they are buying. Here are some tips I can offer you that surely will help you build your presence online and get more engagements on your blog: Create “about” page and let the readers know who you are. Add author column by the end of the post so that people will feel it as trusted source. Write in your own voice, share your experiences and ideas that worked for you. Genuinely help your readers with your content but don’t just write another blog post with same blah blah which is already on the Internet. Be unique and original. Build a brand not a blog – Be active on social media like Twitter.
