Constitute the habit of washing your face every morning when you wake up and every evening before bed is crucial. This helps keep your oil levels under control and will help remove any dirt, makeup and other debris from your skin. I always look for cleansers that offer sebum control.
For those who wear makeup, the sooner you remove it at the end of the day the better for your pores. If you’re someone who has skin that’s oily, you may need to wash your face more frequently than twice a day. Pay attention to when your skin starts to get oily again after your first cleansing. A mid-day or late afternoon cleaning may be necessary to keep that excess oil under control.
After cleansing it’s very important to use a toner. It should be part of your daily skincare regimen. It helps to remove any debris left behind after the cleansing process, gently conditioning and soothing skin. It’s important to always practise good hygiene. The debris that gets lodged in your pores can both clog and stretch them. Once trapped, that debris can result in blackheads and other unsightly skin concerns.
Wear non-comedogenic makeup— It means that the ingredients found within a specific product have been tested to show that they do not block pores. When it comes to shopping for makeup, you should look for those products labelled as non-comedogenic to help control your pore size. Usually, the words “non-comedogenic” will be proudly displayed on the packaging.
You’ll be surprised at how many options are available, and this goes to demonstrate how concerned we all are about visible and enlarged pores. Please keep in mind that non-comedogenic products don’t work for everyone, and some people discount the term altogether. However, I do believe that all rules of skincare are not one size fits all. Give them a try and let us know if they work for you. Take advantage of these products and look for an improvement in your pore size.
Wear sunscreen— We all know sunscreen use is crucial when it comes to keeping our skin looking young and fabulous. We must protect our collagen because when its integrity is compromised, look out increased pore size. Find a nice daily moisturizer with SPF. If you’re going to be in the sun for any length of time, apply, apply and reapply for maximum protection. Find every opportunity to stay in the shade and keep covered up. If your pores start to appear less noticeable, you may find a new best friend in a wide-brimmed hat.
Exfoliate your skin— Exfoliating on a regular basis will definitely help prevent dirt, excess oil and makeup from getting lodged into your pores. It’s also great for removing any dead skin cells from your face. These skin cells have a way of getting trapped by the oil on our skin and embedded into pores.

One fast way to get rid of large pores on face is by cleaning and moisturizing skin regularly to prevent blocking of pores and fix your skin problem. Treatment from naturally made home remedies like lemon, vinegar, ice, baking soda, egg are also helpful but may take time to shrink and remove the large pores on face.
Rub Ice to your pores. Take ice cubes in a soft clean cloth and gently rub it to your face. Using ice is a natural treatment used by many to shrink their skin pores and make them less visible. This treatment will make your face look red due to circulation of blood hence don’t panic.
Rub aloe vera gel. Aloe gel has skin cleansing properties and enzymes that will help you to eliminate impurities from face and seal your skin pores. Rub this gel for 5 minutes and then allow it to dry. After drying rinse your face with cold water.
Use lemon juice as a facial cleanser Acid present in lemon clears deep skin impurities while vitamin C makes skin lighter. Add water to lime juice and rub it to your face. Lemon is a very effective home remedy to get rid of large pores.

Apply egg white to face— break one egg and remove the yellow portion from it. Apply the remaining white egg to your skin, let it dry and then wash it with cold water. This will help you to get rid of large holes on your face.
Papaya and strawberry fruit facial. Blend papaya and strawberry paste together and use it for reducing the appearance of pores on face. Apply this paste to face and especially nose to remove whiteheads, blackheads, blocked skin pores and wrinkles.
Cucumber to shrink pores. Cucumber has skin lightening properties and provides a cooling sensation when applied to skin. Rub a slice of cucumber on face for 10 minutes and then cover it with cucumber paste. Cooling agents, moisture and lightening properties in cucumber will help you to fix your problem of large pores.
