Most times, we can’t really avoid getting tanned. If you don’t want to get tanned, the best thing to do is not coming out under the sun at all. And if you must, you have to always do with your sunscreen and sun blocker, whichever you can get your hands on. Your sunshades, sunscreen should always be around you all the time.
While it may be tempting to wear minimal clothing to beat the heat during outdoor activities in the summer, exposing that much skin to the sun will result in tanning and possibly sunburn. Keep in mind that densely woven, lightweight fabrics will provide protection and shade the skin while running, biking, playing golf, and other outdoor activities. Sunscreen should be used every day to avoid sun exposure risks, but the use of sunscreen to avoid tanning during excessive outdoor activities is an absolute must, even if it is cloudy. The sunscreen can be chemical or physical, as both are effective.
