The only advice will be to keep your CV clean, properly formatted, highlight key academic projects and achievements. Sentence Structure. Make it crisp. Anywhere that you’re explaining what you did, you should use a three-part framework. Say what you did, say what you learned or the skill you utilized, and then wrap it up with the impact/result your work provided to the company.
First, make sure you’re using the same keywords on your resume as found on the job ad to help it get through resume filtering software. Keep in mind that this software typically only scans the first page of a resume.
Second, after your resume makes it through the filtering software to a human you’ll want to include the exact wording of the job somewhere on your resume. For instance you can include it in the objective statement or at the top of your resume near your contact info.
Third, even if you’re not in an industry that appreciates a creatively formatted resume, you can still get creative with your resume. Do this by using more creative wording for your headings. Fourth, always include your accomplishments and results. Show what you did in the job that no one before you or after you could do. Never let your resume just read like a job description.
