Absolutely. I started to work at age 14 and gained a lot of valuable work experience, but the best thing was that I learned a positive work ethic at a very young age. Now, in saying this, you don’t want the job to have any negative effect on the 15 year old’s high school education, as the education should always take precedence over the job. And I cannot say this strongly enough, education first, job second for a 15 year old.
I guess that depends on the parents, but legally, a 15year old can work under the law. But most parents do not want their kids working at such age because of the fear that it might affect their studies, or the fear that the job might take better time of their kids. There are minor job roles that teenagers can take up, such as; helping run a coffee shop, waiter, retail jobs and all.
