technically, you cannot close large pores, Pore size is largely determined by genetics.1 Just like some people have blue eyes and others have brown, some people have small pores while others’ pores are large. When you have blackheads, whiteheads and dirt in your pores, they can look bigger because they are stretched out, the best option would be to exfoliate regularly but unfortunately it won’t do much to the size.
Pores are the openings to the hair follicles on your skin. Attached to these follicles are sebaceous glands. These glands produce a natural oil called sebum which keeps your skin moisturized.
They can come in different sizes. Nose pores are naturally larger than those that are located on other parts of your skin, this is because the sebaceous glands underneath them are larger, too. You’re also more likely to have enlarged nose pores if you have oily skin. Enlarged nose pores are also genetic.
Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do to literally shrink large nose pores. But there are ways you can help make them appear smaller.
