Dating apps and sites are now filled with scammers and prostitutes, ridding those platforms the original creation intent. How can these platforms be regulated such that they deliver the true intention they were created for?

It’s not just dating apps that have gone to crap. It’s also a lot of people that use them. When dating apps were new and still kind of frowned upon by most people, they were about meeting someone either for a relationship or just a night. With the latter becoming more of a focal point later on. Then social media took off and a few movements have occurred since the original Inception of online dating model.
I also think dating sites should be regulated as they have become the way the overwhelming majority of people meet their long term partner. Societies that don’t sustain their population decline and fall apart or are conquered. So dating apps that treat their product like a variation of online gambling can have seriously damaging effects on a society that already has severe demographic problems.
