I think it would be understandable if churches and other religious houses refuse to bless same-sex marriages/unions. Their reasons are already well known, and there wouldn’t be need for any hypocrisy. While there may be few churches; such as the Anglican church of England, blessing same-sex marriages, no church, synagogue, mosque or religious houses should be compelled to have and bless same sex marriages on their premises as it is a well known fact that these clergies are against such unions solely for biblical or Quranic reasons. However, I do hope that the Church will come to accept that homosexuality is not a sin or vice, but that it is an outcome of God’s creation, and will accordingly allow and bless same-sex unions in the nearest future.
