I was trying to find an apartment for my girlfriend and I. I found this man on Craiglist saying he was out of the country and wanted to rent out his place while he was gone for a couple years. Turns out he had an apartment he was already paying for and was either trying to sub-lease it, or just take our money and run. I’m guessing the latter. Anyway I didn’t fall for it. When he said send me the money and I’ll send you the keys, I was like “nope” and moved on.
Oh yeah! Hell yeah! I remember paying some agent some money to help me secure a job while in college, it was so rough for me and I had no support. I was working two menial jobs already, I heard about the agent and how he could get me a stable and reliable job. I had to save up aggressively, I was really hopeful. When I gave him the money, I was still hearing from him after a week, after that he suddenly went MIA. I was so deviated, couldn’t even hold anyone responsible cos I came across the agent on Facebook.
