Most times, it’s nothing, not a big deal. Gray hairs are not always an indicator of old age. I’ve come across many young people with gray hairs on their head, some on their body even, and some in their beards. Many young people grow gray hair as a result of heredity. If a new baby is born with patch or patches of gray hair, it’s mostly heredity and nothing serious or worry about.
I think it’s just a pigmentation thing. I wouldn’t be worried. I have seen many newborns with a patch of grey hair. Not too if sure it’s common in babies, but when my 12yr old was about 3-4 I found those few grey hairs on her head. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about, she now has a full head of ginger brown, and maybe one or two grey curly hair.
