If ticks have already settled into your yard, you may need to take additional measures, like applying a treatment to tick-infested areas. Because there are many factors to consider, such as the rules and regulations regarding applications on residential properties, your best line of defense is to work closely with a professional tick control company.
I really had bad tick infestation last year too. In early spring, I’d have a tick or two on me every time I went out in our backyard. I found a chemical called bifenthrin which you can buy in a concentrate and then spray the yard. Since I sprayed the yard, like four months ago, I haven’t found a single tick on me. It pretty much will kill all bugs and it lasts through rains because it’s more of an oil. You just need to let it dry after spraying and it’s safe for kids and animals.
