Bullying is when someone constantly causes another person discomfort; it may involve beating and aggressive/irritating acts. Children are often exposed to bullying from their peers, especially in school. What are the effects bullying may have on children who experience bullying?

When I was in middle school, I was badly bullied because I wasn’t like other boys. Right from when I was small, I’d try on my sister’s clothes and pose in them. I was seen as “girly” by the boys in my class, it was so bad. I was so scared of going to school, I couldn’t tell my parents at home what I was going through. It got to a point, whenever my mom dropped me off, I simply ran off school then return home exactly when school closes. I lost my self-esteem and felt indeed so “different”. Bullied children can be scarred and traumatized for life if proper care is not taken.
Almost everyone has been bullied at a young age, some never get past it, while some do. Bullying mean leave you with trust issues. Sometimes, kids that were badly bullied can grow to be bullies. Severe PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), low self-esteem, poor self image and even worse, continuing to be have the energy field of the victim which makes you prey for more bullying. It’s a difficult cycle to break.
