Sadly, there are no proven or known medical or technological procedures that can be used to reposition an ectopic fetus in the Fallopian tube. Infact, an ectopic pregnancy, if not terminated early can become life-threatening. While there have been cases where an ectopic pregnancy has been brought to term, the conditions by which these occurred were extremely unusual. Most successful deliveries have involved the implantation of the egg somewhere in the abdomen rather than the fallopian tubes.
The most sane thing that can be done when an ectopic pregnancy occurs is to get rid of it, and the earlier that is done the better. Many surgeons suggest removing the embryo and repairing any internal damage. This procedure is called a laparotomy. Your doctor will insert a small camera through a small incision to make sure they can see their work. The surgeon then removes the embryo and repairs any damage to the fallopian tube, in some cases, the Fallopian tube may be removed if the damage is beyond normal.
