The results suggest that passive smoking may have an effect on the height of a child independent of genetic factors, the social environment and mother’s smoking in pregnancy. Whether this is a direct effect of parents’ smoking on the child’s growth remains unclear.
I’m not sure science has proved this yet, physically. Mentally and emotionally though, there’s no doubt in my mind it stunts your growth by about as many years as you abuse it. But I do mean abuse. A joint or two a week won’t do much harm, but when you’re smoking a lot everyday, you’re definitely going to see some long term affects.
