Can popping pimples influence the spread of it even more?
That is a tale, popping pimples doesn’t worsen it. It’s not a bad thing in itself. But it’s the method that could be bad. If you get a facial done at a spa, they will pop your pimples for you and you won’t have scars or infections afterwards. But if you pop it at home without preparing well, you might worsen the case and even get additional infections.
There are no rules. If you prefer to pop them, do it right after taking a shower when your skin is resilient and your pores are open, otherwise you risk scarring, skin irritation, and spreading bacteria. Then, immediately wash your skin, tone and moisturize. The lady I got facials from gave me this advice and it hasn’t led me astray.
