For me, I love my windows. I mean, there are a lot of features on windows that are absent on MacOS, Windows is also great for gaming. One of the major things I look out for.

I like using both operating systems for different reasons. MacOS is very easy to use and rarely has serious problems. I use it mainly for emails, photo editing and archiving, writing letters and various other simple tasks. I am also a voracious reader and store many epub books in iBooks for reading on my iPad. I like Windows for the many applications that are available for all different types of tasks. I like the application interfaces available for archiving. I like the apps for system backups and using SQL databases. I like it that I’m not limited to a few choices for many routine tasks. I also like the ease with which I can micromanage the OS. My preferences really relate to the types of tasks I am doing at any given time.

I recently switched from Windows to Mac and never returned. I have used most Windows versions from Windows 3.1 to Windows XP. I did a photography class when I switched at that time and they used Macs. Before that I did not have any experience with a Mac and I had the feeling only creative hippies with money were using them. But the experience was actually good. It felt decent. And I will be honest, it had a kind of magic. Since I switched, I’ve had a Macbook, iMac, MacBook Air and now am using a MacBook Pro.
I am a photographer and designer. I bought the MacBook Pro in 2018 and I am still using it today, everyday.
