was the jury’s judgement on George Floyd’s murder case enough justice to his death?

There are many people that are trying to turn Floyd into a villain, and are trying to justify and defend Derek Chauvin’s actions. I do not care if Floyd had drugs in his system, there is no justification for Derek Chauvin to have had his knee on Floyd’s neck for over 9 minutes.
It doesn’t matter what Floyd did or did not have in his system. Police officers need to be properly trained for situations like this so that they do not take a person’s life away.
Now more than ever it is so important that everyone pays attention to what happens during this trial. Even though it has almost been a year since everything happened, do not forget that Black lives still matter.
The cold, hard truth is that we would never have known what Derek Chauvin did to George Floyd if it hadn’t been for a heroic 17-year-old black girl who stopped to record it all on her cell phone and then uploaded it to Facebook. If she hadn’t done that, Chauvin would have got away with murder and the world would have been none the wiser as to what really happened. As much as many people may not be exactly satisfied with the jury’s judgement, given that Chauvin may not even have to go to jail for a very long time. I still see it as a victory because I could’ve sworn the case was getting watered down. It’s still victory at last. A final closure for the family.
