Do made people think they are normal like the rest of us sane people?
There are some mental illnesses where the person knows very well that he or she is having a mental issue. But in a lot of other cases the persons have no clue of the same. They are totally oblivious to their environment and too haywired to be actually explained anything, so their suffering is bad.
It was obvious to me something was wrong. My mind was flying at the speed of light. I was the smartest person in the room full of PhDs. I understood things the rest of them had difficulty with, and it was easy. Something was wrong with that picture. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the knowledge necessary to diagnose myself. I thought I had brain cancer. I thought my mind was doing extra thinking because it knew it was about to die. And it never occurred to me to connect my brain activity with my sexual activity, even though that was also very unusual, for me.
