Everybody has their reasons none of them are the same. Whether it’s peer pressure. Problems at home. Dealing with the loss of a loved one. Feeling lost and not knowing what else to do. A way to escape reality. Mental health problems. They could have been born into the drug world. Or they just like the feeling. There could be a ton of answers. It all just depends on the Addict. And why they chose to do drugs.
It takes a specific type of mind to be able to benefit from doing drugs. This is why addiction is so rampant; people want to escape their life, people want to alter their perception and see the world through opened doors. People want to get away, people want to find something new. The plain and simple truth is there is not one specific reason why anyone would do drugs. It’s not a copy-paste operation; it’s tailored to the individual. My specific interest lies in opening the doors of consciousness and enlightening myself as to the overarching nature of the universe around me. Though, that may be a bit too optimistic, as I have also combatted addiction and the pains thereof in the past.
