Since many people will attack homosexuality because they believe God is not happy with it, did the Bible ever make a stand on it?

Honestly, there is nothing in the Bible about affectional orientation to the same sex. To respond differently to the ideas behind the question, we would have to have it phrased something like the following: Why do some people think the Bible says something about same sex orientation? The answer to that would begin with this clause: Because they do not understand the cultural, sociological or anthropological context of the verses they assume say something about homosexuality. As for the King James Bible, that version does not include the word homosexual. Why? King James II had his version of the Bible published in 1611. The English word homosexual was translated from German to English for the first time in 1869.

I understand that there are verses that say it is bad, when you interpret them in that way. But I don’t understand why God would want to reject any of his children. It doesn’t make sense. If one cannot change, and they were born that way, isn’t that insinuating that God made a mistake? Also, I would like to add that those who say to gay people that they are straying away from God, the sole reason they are doing that is because the people practicing the religion tend to paint God as someone who excludes his children. The issue is not with hating God, it’s because Christianity is some cases has let to a toxic environment for those who want to love and cherish a partner. Isn’t it a sin to give in to hate? Isn’t it a sin to bring hell upon others because you don’t accept them? God works in mysterious ways, in ways we can never understand. My point is, we cannot speak for Him. We have the Bible, yes, but we cannot truly know of his plan. We are humans, naturally imperfect. We’ll get things wrong, just like the translators did. Jesus wouldn’t have died for our sins if we were perfect. Gay people stray sway from religion because of the negative connotations associated with your religion, which conservative people crafted. Creating an environment that isolates some of God’s creations defeats the purpose of trying to live a life devoted to spreading joy and positivity.
