People who are colorblind only have trouble telling red from green. It’s not like they can’t see objects that are those colors, just red and green objects of equal brightness would look like the same color. Up until recently, I never knew some individuals even struggle with seeing at night, and the fact that I can see everything and all colours sort of makes me feel special.
People who are colour blind still see all the light that reaches their eyes, just some colours look the same as others. If they were green-red colourblind they would still see the lines, but may not be able to tell the difference between those lines and red lines of they were also present.
