Why can’t I do two things at the same time?

  • 0

Why am I not able to do two things at the same time? I find it hard concentrating on two different things at the same time. For example why can’t I read and see a movie at the same time?

Actually you can, the brain just tend to prioritize a thing over the other. For example, I’m thinking about what to type, while typing right now. I’m also in a class undergoing a training. Usually, when “thinking” your brain is focusing on the most relevant thing.

Of course you can! You can, with one in your subconscious working away but if you mean thinking in words, I don’t think you can, because it would be like saying two separate sentences at the same time. Sometimes sublimating one thought will cause a solution to appear seemingly spontaneously (when actually your brain didn’t completely stop thinking of it).
