Both channels work if followed-through with a good methods and nurturing technique. Suggesting you check on mult-channel marketing services, where cold calling and email are included in the platform to generate leads for sales. Research your focus audience – some might prefer calls, some emails. Some companies do both – cold email and follow-up with cold call. Personally me, if I see unknown number calling, I rarely ever answer. However, if I see really catchy email subject in my inbox I might just open it.
Cold emailing can be incredibly effective, so it should be considered a best business practice for entrepreneurs, with cold emailing it’s very easy to scale up due to its time efficiency and possible optimization. If you email me, I will read it within a working day or two, and if interested, will get back to you. If you phone me and I don’t recognise the number, I will not answer.
