Try exfoliating, that is what really worked for me. Do not use any harsh exfoliator, in fact you can easily make one from the comfort of your kitchen or home. This will help soften the hairs and make shaving even easier for you. It’s not until you want to shave or wax before you should exfoliate, do it regularly to get fast and obvious results.
Wash it with shampoo and conditioner, it can be the kind you put on your head. You may even want to go looking for products that are marketed towards ladies of African heritage, since those products are often made to soften coarse hair. If you can’t find them at your regular store, go to a beauty supply store and they’ll have what you’re looking for.
