Assuming you’re already in a particular line of profession and would like to move, pick out the experience that is common to what you have for your current role and what will help you in the one that you would like to pursue. Make a note of the additional qualification you would need to meet the your new career requirements and work on them. Let me warn you, it’s going to be tough convincing the employer of your change in career. So, write down what motivates you to make the change. It could be peer influence and the benefits you have seen and want for yourself, or your interest in the role and the value you can add, your awareness that it’s a growing industry and you want to be a part of it or whatever is your reasons.
I’m a huge proponent for everyone getting fulfilled in their career. Career changes are often easier said and done, it can take a huge change on you physically and emotionally. So it’s important to approach a career change with good strategy and plan. Be more confident in who you are as a person with clarity about your skills.
