Is it wise to legalize cannabis in all states just because it’s a profitable business?
The cannabis industry is a booming industry with lots and lots of profit. Starting a Cannabis business requires excessive knowledge of cannabis product combinations and financing. Knowing the local market, cannabis regulation laws and limitations for starting up the cannabis business are crucial. There are many things to consider before a state can even consider legalizing marijuana. Is the state ready to bring out of jail, all the people that have been jailed as a result of dealing? Are there medical facilities available in cases of overdoses and addictions? If these things are not in place, a state has no business legalizing marijuana for profit making.
Legalizing and allowing full recreational use of marijuana would make it far too accessible and, as a result, expand its use and misuse. Legalizing the sale of cannabis may lead them to market aggressively to heavy pot users, who may have a drug problem. This is similar to what is happening in the alcohol and tobacco industries, where companies make much of their profits from users with serious addiction issues.
