Yeast infection can be transmitted sexually if a partner who has the infection and engages in an unprotected sex with the other partner who doesn’t have it before. The main cause of yeast infection is the abnormal or imbalance in the growth of bacteria in the vagina. Yeats infection cannot be transmitted through kissing.
Although it can be transmitted through unprotected sex with someone infected, but that is very rare. It is not common.
