It binds to your cough receptors like codeine, but it doesn’t fit as well. Likewise, you can get high if you drink enough of it. It is easy to mix with coke or another beverage. That makes it popular at parties. You can buy tablets of only dextromethorphan. They are behind the pharmacy counter.
Drinking cough syrup is definitely injurious to a man. It comes under narcotic category and is highly addictive. Once, someone becomes addicted to corex they may start drinking it daily or even 2-3 bottles a day and as we all know excess of anything is harmful so is the case with this and it slowly hampers with normal psychological functioning of a human and causes various other effects.
