I’d really love to get a tattoo my I’m scared it may not turn out great as I’m so hairy. Does it matter?

I’d really love to get a tattoo my I’m scared it may not turn out great as I’m so hairy. Does it matter?
Well, you’d have to shave the part before you have your tattoos drawn on it. But your hair will absolutely grow back over a tattooed area. I have a small tattoo behind my ear and part of it extends above my hairline, and never had an issue regrowing the hair there. Whether or not your hair will effectively hide the tattoo depends on placement and the thickness of your hair. My hair is quite thick and when I don’t have my sides shaved, it does completely cover the portion of my tattoo above my hairline.
I have recently gotten my first chest tattoo. I’m pretty hairy and pretty pale skin tone. Not black hair, but dark enough. Honestly when the hair grows back the tattoo is not really affected much. I tend to keep the hair trimmed shorter now, but I am not strict about it. I never shave my chest totally. I wouldn’t worry too much.
