I seriously hope the Muslim faith is not against Muslims getting one or two tattoos.

If it doesn’t hurt you or anyone else I don’t understand why it would be not be allowed in Islam. We charge our bodies all the time for so many reasons. Even applying henna is like a temporary tattoo and a lot of Arab women are never without it. So why would tattoos be particularly different and be deem sinful?
Tattoos are haram, whether you like it or not. But if it will mean you go to hell, only Allah knows. If you continue to get tattoos even after knowing it’s not allowed in Islam, it certainly means that you are sinning, but know that Allah is forgiving and merciful. It doesn’t entail though you should sin, then repent and sin again.
