I don’t be knowing why people say money can’t buy happiness, cos it does! It does buy happiness really. What do you think?

We have heard all that life, money can’t buy happiness. Then why are people running behind it all the time. Think of a beggar, begging on the streets, you think they feel happy about it. Are they leading a happy life?
People who don’t have roof over their head, are they happy? People who don’t have food to eat, are they happy? Money is important in every aspects of life, money is power. Those people who say money isn’t important in life, ask them to stop running behind the money and I am damn sure they will stop talking to you from the next day. If you want to make a difference in the society, earn money and distribute the excess among the poor. I am very sure it will bring a lot of happiness to you. For me it surely will, that’s why I want to earn a lot of money.
Money and happiness are not directly linked to each other. But money does help you to be happy indirectly. Money helps you to buy things, be at some place that you want, travel the world, buy your loved one gifts and all these make you happy! The primary reason I work and make money is so that I can live happily. I know my salary is just a number and I don’t let that influence me a lot. But that salary helps me to buy certain things that ensure my peace of mind. When I am able to take my parents out to restaurants or maybe gift them something during the festive season, seeing the smile on their faces make me happy. Two years ago, when I wasn’t earning, I didn’t know this joy. But now, I have learnt that there is more joy in giving than in taking and money helps you in that way.
