Will my son quit meth if I stop his allowance? By stopping his allowance, he wouldn’t have any means of getting it.

Stopping his allowance isn’t tackling his addiction issue. Although, it might help to a level, before he starts looking for other means to getting the meth. Now, your kid has fitness he mixes and hangs out with, probably go to party together. You don’t want to imagine the substances that are always made available at these parties, free! So, it’s not really about stopping his allowance. Talk to him about seeing a therapist.
This is tough- it is natural for a parent to want to protect and help their child, and when nothing works and he/she gets involved in something dangerous, it is time to get help. First, seek help to understand his addiction and know it isn’t something personal. Second, seek to understand resources in your area and learn which ones seem like a fit. Your child is not able to think clearly right now because the substance is impairing his judgement. Ask for the advice of the professionals and follow the steps to admit him in a program for minors. It isn’t an easy situation and the whole family will need support as you navigate through this tough time. I will pray for you and him as you walk down this road together. Addiction hurts everyone involved.
