Is it possible to delete an information or anything at all from the internet, permanently? Has anyone been able to do that successfully?

It depends on what and where you upload it. if you upload a piece on your website, you can delete it permanently so far it’s not yet downloaded by internet users. Basically, anything can be downloaded from the internet, so if you put something onto the internet, the potential for it to be downloaded is very real, especially if popular or viral. Once downloaded, you can pull it down, but whoever downloaded it still has it, and they can even put it back up if they want to.
The phrase “internet never forgets” is true in all ramifications. Once you upload anything, it’s out of your control.. Someone saves it. You delete it. They still have it. Many government and corporate entities collect and save untold terabytes every year. Plus, there are millions of people who can save that unfortunate picture or blog entry. Just when you think you are safe from your past, it will resurface. Ask any actress or famous person who ever allowed a nude or “junk” pic. Especially with pictures— there’s only one way to make sure a picture does not come back to haunt you. If you don’t want every potential employer, your future spouse, and future children to see it, don’t allow it to be taken in the first place!
