Yes, there is cancer in dogs, cancer can happen to almost all animals with a few really interesting exceptions such as sharks and naked mole rats. Dogs can get cancer basically anywhere in their body, from brain tumors to skin cancer. They can also develop things called benign tumors, which aren’t technically cancer but still abnormal cell growth. If a human can get a type of cancer you can be 99.9% sure that that type of cancer can develop in dogs as well.
Sadly, yes. Cancer is defined as cells which continue to grow, invading other cells and spreading to other parts of the body. Any living creature including dogs can get cancer, although some are more prone to it than others. Genetics, environment, carcinogenics and unknown agents can trigger cancerous cells.
