Have you heard about brand salience? Brand salience is the propensity of brand being noticed or come to mind in buying situations. Even though consumers know the benefits of a brand, they might think and buy from other brands. So, at hey might not be willing to buy a brand just because consumers just don’t think of it when in their purchasing situations. Hence, it is very important to build brand salience by getting the brand name noticed and being shown up as much as possible to ensure that brand is considered for purchase.
It’s not enough to identify a consumer’s problem, and product or service benefits. It has to be a problem the consumer wants to solve, and a bigger, more motivating problem or benefit than every other demand on their time, attention and money.
Every product and service is fundamentally competing with every other product for time, attention and money of consumers.
Because even those with a lot of money do not have more time or more attention than others. And they do not care equally about every problem they may have. And then there are all these barriers that are of important note.
